Thanks very much for your kind comments...Hi Craig,

Thanks very much for your kind comments. As for the example you mentioned, that's a very good question. Some players might have said that the ITV has no LOS to the Soviet tank in J7 because the town hex in N8 blocks it. The LOS thread sort of touches just on the border of it, doesn't it? I think there are just some times where you have to make a rough determination or even just roll a die (1-3 = no LOS / 4-6 = LOS) to make a ruling on specific circumstances. If both players can find some mutual way of agreeing about LOS when this sort of issue comes up then that's key. Luckily, I play this game solo most of the time so it's much easier for me to resolve! I hope that helps.bradhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07676567236378987679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8366189854010071552.post-51495915350411446112013-11-10T05:37:49.213+09:002013-11-10T05:37:49.213+09:00Hi Brad!

I still leaves me with a mundane question as regards LOS: calculating LOS on the flat. In your Example of Play, you do not opfire the ITV at Soviet tanks as they pass through J5. You do have the ITV opfire at J7 however. They're both so close. How do you decide? I've even used Vasel but find lots of LOSs too close to call.

Thanks!

Craig

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-zGXiNGz1W4Q/UQTkwSTXvzI/AAAAAAAADhc/y7Agh2jjQmg/s1600/10.JPGAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13036320096644196802noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8366189854010071552.post-16081641838186160872013-02-13T10:31:44.337+09:002013-02-13T10:31:44.337+09:00Thanks NC! I'm glad my articles have motivated you to go back to the Gap. I bought Eisenbach Gap shortly after its original publishing but have not played it in 3 years for lack of an opponent. You've rekindled my spirit to give it a go solo!NChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15450398131250832114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8366189854010071552.post-69466764361419682932013-02-12T11:13:36.426+09:002013-02-12T11:13:36.426+09:00Thanks Ken!
